Quiet location.Children are welcome with some excellent room options for families with services run through the Mont Cervin where there is a children's playroom (unsupervised) - the 'Mini Cervin' - and a children's swimming pool. All the facilities at the Mont Cervin Palace are open to the Petit Cervin guests, including the fabulous spa with its indoor swimming pool, a heated outdoor pool and Jacuzzi, two whirlpools, a Finnish sauna, steambaths, an ice-grotto and a relaxation room.

The service is phenomenal, particularly the concierge, Christian. Breakfast plentiful. Comfortable living room with sofa corner, dining table and desk. Access to the facilities of the larger, related hotel (Mont Cervin Palace). I often wound up using the throw on the end of the bed as a sheet. There are also plenty more active possibilities including the fitness centre, indoor tennis and squash, gym, heli-skiing, ice skating, paragliding, stunning walking tours, gorge adventures, ice climbing and tobogganing.The neighbouring hotel to the grand Mont Cervin Palace this is a more family friendly, traditional option. Due to its southerly location, Zermatt shares part of its border with Italy and thus enjoys a mild climate with extended periods of sunshine.
