The food was really good and we could see the Chef at work. A large separate bathroom with two washbasins and a shower, more of a wet room, in fact, which did, unfortunately, have a tendency to flood if you showered for too long!

They are set round a small garden courtyard where meals are served in summer. Breakfast copious and delicious as well.The outside doesn't look out of the ordinary, but the three rooms at this up-market Logis are beautifully appointed with top-notch fixtures and fittings. Formerly wine grower’s house, today house of charm.

You sit under trees in the cour caree and are guided through each course by the waiter who highlights the different elements of your dish. There is a big focus on locally sourced ingredients and every mouthful was a delight. It is within very easy reach of the A75, only a few kilometres from Issoire. The hotel was easy to find and there is plenty of parking right outside. One of the few “we must go ther again” places we know of.We stayed one night at La Cour Carree on our way to the South of France, and had a great experience.
Very small establishment, just three rooms clustered around a delightful courtyard, plus the restaurant. The bed large enough for two hippos and very comfortable. The courtyard looked beautiful on a cold autumn day: it would be a lovely place to eat out on a warmer day.
